Good food. Beef with tomato was excellent. Egg foo young was good, didn't care for the gravy. Service was excellent. Will definitely return!!

Ordered for the first time because the family and I were in the mood for some authentic Chinese food. The line to pick up the food was quite long and there were a number of cars in the parking lot waiting for to go orders. In my opinion, that was a good sign that their food was good. We ordered the sweet and sour pork, honey walnut shrimp, house egg foo yong, fried chicken wings, and fried rice. All the food tasted good and serving sizes were quite large. The only issue for me was their egg foo yong had egg shells in it. That was the dish I was looking forward to the most. However, the moment I ate it, I immediately felt the crunch of the egg shells, and had no appetite to eat afterwards. They also give won ton chips but it had a weird aftertaste. The chips tasted like they were fried in old, used cooking oil. Other than that, the food wasn't bad. I'd definitely go back to try the other dishes.

I decided to give this place a chance since it was in the area. (I've been getting Chinese food from a competitor for many years) My partner and I got the Family Dinner A from the menu. This was a dinner worth $34.99. O ordered directly from the website and did say you can pay an uncharge any dinner substitute. Family Dinner A vs Family Dinner B has different choices. I was not able to customize the entree to anything else, so I had to choose from the options they had on the website. This could be improved.... because I would have paid an upcharge for the entree I really wanted but still get the full Family Dinner. Anyways, our selections were hot n sour soup, pork fried rice, Moo Goo Gai Pan, and Mongolian Beef. It also included 2 eggrolls, 2 crab rangoon, and 2 fried shrimp. Instructions for delivery specified to not knock or ring the doorbell... I just wanted a contactless delivery since I paid/tipped on the website. This request was not followed and caused our dogs to go crazy. Okay, now the food... Hot n sour soup was delicious. Very enjoyable! I could have this on its own as a dinner. Pork fried rice was good. Nice flavor. Moo Goo Gai Pan was good. Mongolian Beef was advertised to be spicy on the menu. This was rather plain in flavor. Meat was okay. Quantity for this seemed small. Eggrolls were amazing! Didn't even need a dipping sauce. Great on its own. Crab Rangoon were 5 stars. Delicious!! Fried shrimp was cooked perfectly. Sweet n sour sauce was rather thin. It tasted fine, though. I would be interested in trying more from this place. Prices were reasonable. The food was good and came quick.

Just another easy-going Saturday afternoon Chinese food lunch. Had a lot going on and thought we would stop and grab a bite. Food is always pretty good here. Is not a fancy sit down restaurant more of a takeout option just for an FYI. Friday and Saturday nights this place does a business if you're going to come do yourself a favor and calling your order and cut down your time.

I got the lunch special beef w/garlic sauce. The spicy soup was absolutely amazing! All the plates come with a crab Rangoon as well. Nice staff, got the food in a decent time.

I had a taste for Egg Foo Young. This establishment makes it more like I am accustomed to. I wish that it had more veggies like bean sprouts, water chestnuts and snow peas. Their lunch specials are very reasonable and soup (three choices) is provided, even for take out. The Mongolian Beef lunch is also very good. They provide friendly service and not every dish tasted full of sugar. They need to find a place to store their supplies! Not a good look for the restaurant.

Number 1 New York Chinese is a great place to eat! The restaurant is fairly small so don't bring a large group for lunch! However if you get take out they can handle any size order! The food is really good and the staff is friendly!

New York Chinese is really good and authentic Chinese food. It's located in the same plaza as Target off Green Valley Parkway. There is plenty of seating inside and TVs to watch while you eat, although it seems like most people order takeout. It's a quick casual spot and you're in and out fairly quickly. The service is quick and they prefer you pay cash, although credit cards are accepted too. I like coming here for their lunch specials. They have a large selection of items to choose from. The lunch specials include soup or a soda and a crab rangoon, so it's a really good deal. The portions are huge too so you'll definitely have leftovers.
